After School Program

If you are a parent in need of childcare in a safe, structured environment, look no further than Sardis. Sardis provides a Christian-based program that encourages kindness, teamwork, fun, and the importance of education. At the start of the COVID pandemic, and as a full-time working parent, I was at a loss as to what I was going to do with two elementary school-aged children. I remembered that a teacher at my children’s school mentioned that Sardis had an after-school program. I contacted them in hopes that they would be offering a program for working parents during that very stressful time. They were so welcoming and understanding and made room in their already full program for my children. After picking the kids up on the very first day, they could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed being at Sardis. They were excited to meet new friends, play games, and learn more about the bible. They also loved all the teachers and volunteers there. That is when I knew I had found the right place for my children. The emphasis placed on schoolwork and the fact that many of the team have been in the education system has been a tremendous help for my children when they have struggled with subjects like Math and English. My children have continued to grow with Sardis over the last several years, and I cannot stress how thankful I am for all their support. As a family, we have begun going to church there, and they truly make you feel like you are a welcome part of the community.         -Daneen and  Family
